  • FIRST IN NEW ZEALAND AFTER MIXING ALL 24,000 PIECES BEFORE COMMENCING.
  • SECOND IN NEW ZEALAND
  • FIRST IN MOUNT MAUNGANUI
January 20th, 2009
Linda Mills   -   Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
Assembled Solo after mixing all the bags of pieces together. Taking one year to complete.

SECOND IN NEW ZEALAND.

SECOND IN NEW ZEALANDMy name is Linda Mills. I purchased the puzzle December 2007 and completed it in January 2009.

My husband and sons said it wasn't a 24,000 piece puzzle unless I muddled all of the pieces up - which they very kindly did for me! I only worked on it every second weekend as I made it up on the floor in one of the rooms at our property at Glenbrook, New Zealand. I live and work at Mt Maunganui, New Zealand.

It was a great puzzle to do - the pieces fitted nicely and colours were distinctive. Everyone asks me if I will frame it but I would quite like to do it again. I have previously done many large puzzles up to 18,000 pieces but completed them in sections - mainly for space reasons. Now I am doing a 9,000 piece puzzle - mixed up.

Linda
